Another incident that I read was that the a UK school banned people from coming to pick up their kids after school in Pajamas. No that is something OK since you want your children to behave and children definitely copy the elders and hence the ban.

I have seen several grandparents coming to pick up their grandchildren at school and they definitely are wearing their Kurtas for sure. That said can we ban them? Well I think the discretion has to be the wards here as to what kind of teachings they want to give to their kids. That said every one on its own and the schools should focus on larger issues rather than mundane issues of dressing and the moral judgments.
